Rugeley Town railway station serves the little community of Rugeley and the surrounding Staffordshire villages. It was constructed in the late th century by the then London and North Western Railway and a busy commuter station until the mid ’60s when the line and all the stations between Rugeley Trent Valley to Walsall were closed as part of the Beeching Axe.
